Students are invited to browse and borrow from the many books and resources available in the University Counseling Office. In addition to those resources we have attempted to categorize online resources for students and families. Resources have been organized below to support university research, funding, major/subject decisions and more.
All students (and parents upon request) are provided access to Naviance Family Connection by the end of Year 7. This account ties in directly to our university curriculum, The Dulwich Success Plan.
What is Family Connection? It is a comprehensive third-party resource used to support students in making decisions about university, careers, scholarships, and more. This service connects our counseling office with universities globally and supports in applying, tracking and analyzing university application data.
These sites offer free online courses, providing students the opportunity to explore academic areas they are unfamiliar with, unable to access within their school curriculum, and/or supplement learning that takes place in school. Many of these courses are instructed by university professors and can be completed for a certificate if the student chooses. The best part about these resources is that there is no pressure, it is totally student driven – learning in its purest form for the sake of learning.
